You Are Worthy of God’s Love
I had a profound healing encounter with Jesus today. Sitting in my quiet prayer time with the Lord and allowing the Holy Spirit to speak through me, I entered into a beautiful sacred space where the Lord met me in His form as Jesus.
He bowed down before me and began to wash my feet with living water and I started to say - “I am not worthy to have my feet washed by you.”
And He said - “My child, you are a child of God who is worthy of receiving My love and blessings.”
At this I found myself bursting into tears and great big waves of emotions started to be released from my being, all the parts of me that had felt or believed she was unloved, unlovable and unworthy came flooding out in the presence of my God.
Jesus in response to my tears simply held me and reminded me how I was and had always been worthy of God’s love. It was me who had believed the lies of the enemy that I wasn’t.
Jesus then told me to read and share the following Bible verse -
It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.
The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.
He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?”
Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” “No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.”
Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”“Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!”
Jesus answered, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.” For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean.
When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them. (John 13:1-17)
God’s love for you is beyond measure and it’s His love that seeks to heal you from all wounds and lies of the enemy that may have convinced you that God’s love is conditional or that you have to prove your worth for His love or like me you believed you were unworthy of His love.
God is love and simply loves and delights in you. Allow Him to bless you with His love and to wash away all the things that are not of love.
For in God all wounds are healed and all things that were unclean are made clean.
Trust. Have faith. All is well and you are loved by the Most High.
Yours in Christ,
Ellen xoxo

Scripture To Reflect On
Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
(Luke 12: 6-7)
In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will.
(Ephesians 1: 11)
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
(Romans 5:8)
We love because he first loved us.
