When peace has left the building God has left the building
Since I became a disciple of Christ Jesus I’ve experienced some of the most intense spiritual warfare of my life.
No one told me that becoming a disciple of Jesus meant I’d be joining an age old war between the good and evil in this world.
No one told me that I would have a target on my back by Satan himself and that he would throw all manner of things at me to prevent my return home and walk with God.
Satan and his kingdom of darkness is a real and conscious force in this world, who aim to keep God’s children bound to the wheel of delusion, material bondage, fear and ignorance.
I never believed Satan or the demonic existed till I became a disciple of Jesus and found myself battling it out with the Adversary himself, seeing his black snakes everywhere and how they choked and destroyed lives and livelihoods, including my own.
But one of the things Satan has constantly done to try and trip my walk with God up is to keep feeding me fears.
Fears that I’m not safe.
Fears that I’m going to mess things up.
Fears that I’ll lead people down the wrong path like I did in the New Age.
Fears that I’m not really hearing from God.
Fears that I’m not good enough or worthy enough.
Fears I’m behind and not doing enough.
Fears I’ll be hated, judged and persecuted (which def happens when you follow Jesus but in God you are safe and protected).
Satan has fed me a multitude of fears, worries and anxieties sometimes to the point I want to run away and not continue my walk with Christ and that’s what he wants.
But time and time again God has interceded and reminded me that I’ve been given all power and authority over the darkness. To cast the Adversary and his evil out of my life and the lives of others.
Through my mentor the other day Jesus reminded me that you’ll know when the adversary is all up in your grill because you will be feeling -
Confused
Fear
Doubt
Insecure
Worries
Jealousy
Unsafe
Conflicted
Double minded
Depressed
Anxious
Anger
And when peace has left the building God has left the building.
That’s how I now know when I’m under the influence of the Adversary is when I feel fear, confused, conflicted and when I’m in God I feel a powerful sense of peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.(Philippians 4:7)
So the moment you’ve stepped out of peace and you’re all up in fears, worries, anxieties is the time to call on Jesus to help you muzzle and bind the voice of the enemy and cast him out.
That’s one of the beautiful gifts that God gave us through Jesus is to bind and cast out the darkness in our lives.
You can say a simple prayer like -
In the Name of Jesus I come against this spirit of fear and I muzzle, bind and silence it with the blood of Jesus.
Sometimes when I also hear the Adversary whispering unkind things in my ear I yell at him to get behind me in the Name of Jesus and he shuts up real quick.
You’ve been given all power and authority over the darkness in Christ, and God has given you a spirit of love, peace, power and a sound mind.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.(2 Timothy 1:7)
When you’re resting in God and in God’s presence and truth you’ll feel a deep sense of peace and of being held and loved.
When you’re abiding in the Adversary’s realm you’ll feel fear, worries, anxieties, insecure and unsafe.
So next time you find yourself not feeling peaceful call on Christ to help you kick the Adversary out of your life.

LOVE NOTE FROM THE LORD
In Christ Jesus, you’ve been given all power and authority over the enemy. Do not believe in the lies of the evil one who tells you to believe there is no God, you’re unworthy, unlovable, it’s all on you, you have to figure everything out or that you have to live in fear.
I gave you the powerful name of Jesus (God saves) to cast out and bind the darkness that would seek to destroy your life and cause destruction. Stand in the full authority of Christ and cast out the prince of the air, My child, for in Christ the adversary is made obsolete.
SCRIPTURE TO REFLECT ON
Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and upon all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. (Luke 10:19)
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (John 1:5)
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. (John 14:27)
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1)
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
