Don’t settle for anything less than love in your life
I had a profound heart healing moment with God on Wednesday. My minister guided us to lay down on the church floor and simply allow ourselves to RECEIVE God’s love.
She explained how we spend so much time doing, giving, worshipping God, working hard to live in alignment and integrity with His wills and ways that we don’t create space and time to simply REST in and RECEIVE His LOVE.
Not knowing what to expect I laid down on the floor and said -“I surrender my heart to you God and allow myself to receive your love.”
The most unexpected and beautiful encounter unfolded where I felt Christ (God’s love) wash over me and I heard His voice say -
My child, when you know how much I love you and have always loved you, you will never settle for anything less than love in your life.
Then I felt His spirit begin to remove all the layers in my heart where I’d felt unloved, unlovable, unwanted and not taken care of and He showed me the areas in my life where I’d unknowingly believed I was unloved which had led me to hurting and harming myself and others.
God revealed to me that when we believe the lies of the enemy that we are unloved or unlovable we then settle for unloving people, situations and circumstances that hurt our hearts and spirit.
When we know we are loved and provided for by the love and peace of the Most High we don’t settle for anything less than love, loving and healthy relationships, people and situations.
God showed me that when we allow God to give us love, to fill our hearts with His love we blossom and create lives of love and beauty that not only benefit our life but the lives of others.
So I invite you today to find some beautiful Christian worship music, if you don’t have any I can suggest one of my favourites is Breathe/What a friend I’ve found by Hillsong, link is here -

And to take some time to simply lay on the floor and say -“God, I am willing to rest in and receive the love you have for me today, please soften my heart with your presence so I may receive and experience the love you have for me. Fill my heart with your love, Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen.”
Let go of any expectations of how God’s love will reveal itself to you.
Your Creator loves you and has always loved you and desires nothing more than to heal you with love, restore you in love and have you live a life in love and most of all to have a loving relationship and friendship with Him.
Trust
Remember

I love you.
Yours in Christ,
Ellen

LOVE NOTE FROM THE LORD
When you know how loved you are by Me, you will never settle for anything less than love in your life. You are worthy of receiving My love, abiding in My love and being a vessel of My love, for My Kingdom of glory is LOVE. Love is all there is when you abide in My heart. I love you. Allow yourself to receive and abide in My love. In Christ, Amen.
SCRIPTURE TO REFLECT ON
We have come to know and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him (1 John 4:16)
But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (1 John 4:8)
We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. (1 John 4:16)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. (Romans 8:38-39)
The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. (Jeremiah 31:3)
