How Satan Has Silenced Women

I’ll be honest with you. 

When I first encountered Jesus in 2023 and He started to heal and transform my life I initially struggled to come into His world of referring to God as a Father.

I struggled with old religious trauma, wounding, and lies of the enemy that told me God/Jesus = patriarchal religions who oppressed and demonised women.

I struggled to separate Jesus from religion, mainly patriarchal religions and churches led by men who’d told women they can’t talk or teach about God. 

I struggled to separate Jesus from abusive religious men and women who had attacked, controlled, demonised, bullied, ostracised, judged, and burnt women like me who had spiritual and supernatural gifts, women who were different. 

I struggled with the idea of even going to a church because I was told churches were places where women aren’t allowed to have a voice, they are to be SILENT. Boy was I wrong! 

As Jesus healed my heart, my relationship with God, freed me from the spirit of religion, freed me from the New Age/Witchcraft/Occult, freed me from religious wounding and fear of man, removed the scales from my eyes, I came to see the spirit that had been trying to silence me as a woman of God was not God or man but the Adversary (Satan). 

All along Satan was the one who had been demonising my spiritual gifts ( gifts that were from God in the first place but had been perverted by the enemy into his camp of New Age/Witchcraft/Occult), who had been convincing me that God/Jesus was a big male entity who hates women, especially spiritually gifted women like me, and who had convinced me to have a relationship with God meant being oppressed, controlled, submissive and abused by a male God. These were ALL LIES from Satan. 

Satan has done a beautiful job through ignorant men and patriarchal religious institutes that he created in silencing the voice of God through women. 

By silencing half of God’s body (women) you weaken the body of Christ. 

By oppressing and demonising half of God’s body (women) you weaken the body of Christ. 

Yes there is scripture referring to women being silent in the church that has been grossly misunderstood, misconstrued and perverted, and taken out of cultural context and used by the enemy to silence women but throughout the Bible God constantly refers to how God created both male and female as images of God (Genesis 1:27), how God will pour out His gifts and spirit on both male and female and how God empowers and equips both men and women (Joel 2:28-32). 

God even revealed that not only is there a Father aspect to Him which points to God who is beyond creation but that the mother aspect of God is the Holy Spirit, who is the aspect of God that births and creates new life and ensures what is created is in alignment and integrity with the wills and ways of the Most High. God is our Father and our Mother and His Spirit of both male and female is throughout all of creation. 

When God manifested Himself in the form of Jesus how did Jesus treat women? With love, respect, kindness and compassion. Jesus taught women, discipled women, healed women, ministered to women, and His still doing that to this very day.

Jesus will call His women to be mouth pieces for God. Jesus will empower and equip His women to be vessels of God’s love and grace and will empower women to share and express the anointing that God has placed on their lives. 

God loves women, God created women and women are the other half of God’s image. 

To deny, oppress and demonise women in the name of God or Jesus is to deny, oppress and demonise God’s Holy Spirit of creation, the Mother aspect of God that births and creates ALL OF LIFE.

Satan does not want women to be powerful mouthpieces and vessels of God. Satan will convince women they are witches and Goddesses whose spiritual gifts, identity and powers are in the lower elemental forces of this world in spells, sorcery, magic, reiki, moon worship, womb worship, plant medicine worship, occult and witchcraft practices, etc. all designed to keep women trapped in the lower elemental and demoniac forces of this world when there is a higher reality, power, love and truth in God available to them. 

I know because I personally used to be one of these women and when Jesus broke me free from the identity of witch/Goddess and I started to experience the healing power, love and presence of God moving through me, nothing compares to it. 

So know this now. If you are a woman who has spiritual and supernatural gifts and were told by churches that you were evil, wrong, an abomination to God this was Satan speaking. And if your church hurt, religious wounds led you into the New Age/Witchcraft/Occult to find God this was Satan’s doing. 

When you turn to Jesus and ask to be set free and your identity in God restored, get ready for a big healing and overhaul. 

You have been and always will be whether you like it or not a child of God, a woman of God. Your identity as a woman is in God and you were created in the image and likeness of God but your identity was stolen by the Adversary. 

Your identity in God was perverted, demonised, silenced, oppressed, twisted, corrupted and manipulated by the Adversary and he has used ignorant and egoic man to ensure women were kept silenced in the body of Christ and God’s church. 

Thankfully, there is a BIG REVIVAL happening now where Jesus is cleaning up churches, dismantling demonic strongholds over people, places and institutes that have tried to silence His women and He is restoring BOTH men and women to become powerful vessels of God’s love, peace, truth and grace. 

You will always know when Satan is up in a situation because he will either convince people God is a male entity only that hates women or women are less than or God is a female entity only that hates men and men are less than. 

God is a trinity made up of the Father (God - beyond creation), Holy Spirit (Mother - God creating creation), Son of Man (Jesus - God in creation). 

God unites men and women in love to BOTH be vessels of His love, peace and grace. 

Satan divides men and women in fear to become vessels of his hate, bitterness and resentments. 

Know the difference. 

You are a woman who is being called by God for such a time as this, don’t allow the enemy to silence you or convince you that only men can be mouthpieces for God.
