Create Daily Space For God
It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day hustle and bustle of life and forget to take 5 minutes to simply stop, breathe, relax and just drop in to hear what God would have us know right here and right now for our lives.
I love to receive love notes throughout the day from God. I stop. Breathe into my heart and ask -
God, what are your thoughts on this?
What should I do/say/change/create here?
Throughout the day we can create space and time to stop and drop into God and receive His love, healing, guidance, insight and inspiration on anything we may be facing or desire guidance on.
It’s just a simple matter of stopping, dropping into your heart, being present in the here and now and asking and then listening and allowing God to move through you and to show you His perspective, guidance, love and truth on things.
I found the more I lean into God, the more He leans into me and reveals His beautiful and sweet nature.
I now make God my priority every day. God is the counsel, healer, teacher, and waymaker that I seek daily and as a result, my life has changed for the better.
Every day I do the following.
I say the following prayer -
Holy Spirit of God, please set aside my wills, ways, perceptions, projections, beliefs, ideas so that I may clearly hear your will, ways, perceptions, ideas, beliefs and creativity for me and my life.
God, I set aside my ways and ask you to lead and show me how best to be with you this day?
I’ll then hear God guide me to sit in prayer or meditation with Him or He’ll lead me to scripture to read so He can reveal a message to me or sometimes He’ll start doing a full-blown deliverance and healing on me.
I let God guide and show me how He desires for me to be with Him and it’s always an incredible and insightful experience.
I’ll also ask Him through the day for help with things, guidance or insight on things and I’m given and shown solutions or the things best to say and do.
God is always there with you waiting for you to lean into Him. Waiting for you to ask for His help, His love the only question is are you willing?
God will not force Himself on you; you have to seek Him first. For He gave you free will and free choice to choose Him or the world. Either way, He is there waiting for you in your heart.
Make time for God and God will create a space of love, peace and healing for you.
